Thanksgiving

Everyone is fat, full, and happy this Thanksgiving! We all had a wonderful day just being with family and friends. Joe, Bash, Grammy, Great Grandma Ann, Uncle Tim and Uncle Sean, Jerry, and I spent most of the day watching football and hanging out near the fire. Great Grandma Ann and Sebastien played Dominos, checkers, and cards during the day....he really enjoyed that.

I love Thanksgiving and everything that it comes with....the pies, the cooking, laughing all day, crazy conversations, turkey, and knowing that tomorrow I can put up my christmas tree. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Feeling Sick

Sebastien has been sick since last Thursday. I thought he would be as good as new by today but that has not happened. We went back to the doctor today and she prescribed a different antibiotic because the first one didn't work. We felt bad but we had to cancel all of the weekend plans for him (Disney, Wiggles, birthday party, and Bucs game). Thanksgiving is in three days...hopefully we all will be well!

What I learned this week: Pito is spanish for penis. (Bash's question of the week)

Hulk vs She-Hulk

Sebastien is very much into Superheroes and comic books right now. I don't mind when he wants me to make pretend play that he is Spiderman and I am Spidergirl. I don't even mind when I have to play Ironman or Captain America... after all I am raising a boy. What I do mind lately is that he wants me to be She-Hulk. Pretending to be She-Hulk and being called She-Hulk at home is not such a big deal. It is when Sebastien decides that for the entire afternoon running errands...he is going to call me She-Hulk. He thinks it is great when we pretend in the middle of Publix. If I don't answer to the name She-Hulk (which I try often not to do in public) he just yells "Your not Mommy, your She-Hulk!", even louder. Instead of being the green She-Hulk in Publix, I have become the very embarrassed, slightly pink in the cheeks , She-Hulk.

Rock Star

One of Sebastien's favorite places to go is Uncle Sean's house. Joe, Bash, and I went to Sean's house on Sunday for a reunion with my cousins, Ellen and Rudy. We had a great time visiting with everyone. Sebastien had fun swimming in the spa and eating cookies all day. But the best part of visiting Uncle Sean is playing the drums and singing. With Joe on guitar, Uncle Sean on the drums, Sebastien hit the mike singing "Charlie's Balls". ( a song that he made up about an alligator and his .....) It was a little inappropriate for a three year old but maybe it will be a rock song in the future...and it was really funny.
